GENERAL PRINCIPLES AND LAWS
LTE is committed, in the conduct of its business and in business decisions , to comply with the laws and any other legal provisions applicable in the country in which it is active.Our partners are treated seriously and contracts respected.
CORRUPTION
LTE believes that the interests of companies and the private interests of their employees or representatives, on both sides of any transaction, must be kept strictly separate when dealing with business partners, whether customers, suppliers state or public institution.Actions or purchasing decisions are made regardless of personal interests or considerations, with no connection to the business at hand.
The anti-corruption law will be complied with at all times.
CRIMINAL ACTS IN BUSINESS
LTE prohibits both management and employees, in the course of business negotiations, from offering, promising, giving, or accepting gifts, payments, invitations, services, or other favors with the goal of influencing negotiations. This generally does not apply to gifts and invitations that qualify as generally accepted business practices.
CONDUCT TOWARDS COMPETITION
Fair competition shall be respected.
Existing laws that maintain and promote competition, particularly the enforcement of antitrust laws, shall be strictly adhered to. The contracting company may not collude with competitors with the purpose or effects of restricting competition or, if applicable, abuse its dominant position in the market.
FORCED LABOR AND CHILD LABOR
LTE expects its partners not to participate in any form of slavery, forced labor or involuntary labor. The United Nations human rights conventions must be respected as well as the convention relating to the minimum age of admission to employment (International Labor Organization Convention No. 138) and the convention relating to the prohibition and immediate action for the elimination of the worst forms of child labor ( International Labor Organization Convention No. 182).If a national provision relating to child labor provides for more stringent standards, these take precedence.
CONFLICT MINERALS
In relation to Regulation (EU) 2017/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 17, 2017 (O.J. of the European Union L130 of 19/05/2017) establishing supply chain duty of care obligations for Union importers of tin, tantalum and tungsten, their ores, and gold originating in conflict or high-risk areas, LTE supports the fight against violence, human rights violations, and environmental degradation for the extraction and marketing of such minerals or other derivatives from the geographical area delimited as the "Conflict Region," which includes the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and neighboring countries.It therefore conducts strict controls and requires its partners to ensure that imported minerals and metals meet due diligence standards and come from responsible and conflict-free sources

LTE believes that confidentiality and trust are fundamental principles in the conduct of the relationship with its customers, therefore, LTE employees of all ranks are committed to safeguarding trade and business secrets. Disclosing information or documents to third parties without the necessary authorizations or providing other forms of access to them is prohibited.
