ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

 With the implementation of an Environmental Management System, LTE makes a commitment through which it aims to consolidate the image achieved in its sector, paying the utmost attention to environmental issues, such as an ongoing commitment to environmental protection, prevention of all forms of pollution, compliance and adaptation to the obligations of legislative compliance, as well as arising from the expectations and needs of stakeholders. The Environmental Management System defines, in a systematic, planned and documented manner, the organizational and technical activities adopted by the organization and their interactions with the environment. These arrangements are aimed at achieving the following purposes: 

- Continuously monitor environment-related risks in compliance with the requirements of stakeholders; 

- ensure leadership at all levels of the organization and make appropriate resources available to stakeholders in order to ensure continuous improvement; 

- Comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations; 

- increase their professionalism, improving their image to the outside world by gaining credibility in the market, which can also be demonstrated through certification; 

- Coordinate all activities that influence the quality of performance, in terms of environmental protection; 

- To minimize and reduce the environmental impact of business processes, with careful analysis of the product view cycle, consumption and emission values of any kind resulting from production activities; 

- Eliminate the possibility of occurrence of environmental accidents 

For this purpose, the Directorate shall ensure: 

- Ensure that the Environment Policy is understood and supported at all levels of the Company's organization; 

- Provide the necessary resources to stakeholders to achieve the objectives, both in economic and organizational terms; 

- Encourage the continuous improvement of each employee's individual skills and environmental awareness through active participation in training activities, so that employees' skills become corporate assets. 

- Encourage continuous improvement in environmental performance. 

Goals for the Environment can only be achieved with the cooperation of all company resources. Continuous improvement can be achieved through: 

- The efficient and effective management of organization, professionalism and awareness, 

- The reduction of nonconformities, reduction of costs and consumption of natural resources, 

- The containment and reduction of impacts on the working environment and product life cycle, 

- constant attention to dangerous and potentially polluting occurrences in order to prevent their recurrence in the future, 

- Involvement of third-party suppliers for environmental protection, 

- attention in the prevention of and readiness to respond to emergency situations through emergency management simulations, 

- Commitment to compliance with cogent regulations and applicable requirements, 

- A business development strategy that must correspond to the expectations of stakeholderssuch as suppliers, staff, customers, Responsible Bodies, Certification Bodies.
